Superthrive Pro-TeKt 0-0-3 The Silicon Solution is a supplement that supplies silicon and higher levels of potassium
to build stronger plant cell walls.
Since silicon does not translocate within the plant, it must be applied and made available continually throughout the plant’s life cycle.
In hydroponics and container-grown plants, Pro TeKt is a replacement for the silica normally found in soils, though those natural levels
provide only slight benefits to plants.
Plants supplied regularly with Pro TeKt experience increased rates of growth and stronger stems.
Deposited in a hard, opalene form in the epidermis of leaves and stems, silicon adds mechanical strength and supports plants’ natural
defences against insects and fungal infection.
Plants become more tolerant to drought, heat, and cold stresses and will support the weight of dense, heavy fruits, vegetables and flowers.
Pro-TeKt can be used as a surfactant and to raise pH. Pro TeKt The Silicon Solution is recommended for all plants.

Application Rates for Superthrive Pro TeKt 0-0-3
Pro TeKt is introduced first into the mixing tank/container, then add ¾ of the intended volume of water. Finally,
add the other nutrients and top off with the remaining volume of water. Because a very high pH is required to keep Pro-TeKt concentrate in
the solution, it is important to fully dilute it before adding other Superthrive nutrition solution concentrates which have low
pH. Mixing the two concentrates without first diluting them will turn Pro-TeKt into a lump of silica gel!
Container Application: Mix at a dilution rate of 1 : 3 000 (3.3 mL Pro TeKt to 10 litres of water) to 1 : 1 500 (6.7 mL Pro TeKt
to 10 litres of water) with every watering.
Foliar Application: Miix at a dilution rate of 1 : 3 000 (3.3 mL Pro TeKt to 10 litres of water) o 1 : 1 500 (6.7 mL Pro TeKt to
10 litres of water) and spray directly of leaves.
Siphon Mixer: Mix at a dilution rate of 1 : 15 (333 mL Pro TeKt to 5 litres of water) for a concentrated feed solution.
Irrigation Injector: Mix at a dilution rate of 1 : 100 (100 mL Pro TeKt to 10 litres of water) to make up an injectable concentrate.
Maintenance: Mix at a dilution rate of 1 : 750 (13.3 mL to 10 litres of water) with every watering.
Note: Because a high pH is required to keep Pro-TeKt in solution, the concentrate cannot be
mixed with any acidic fertilizer. Therefore, apply Pro-TeKt separately when using a single-head injector.
